Events for 2003

Coffee hour every Monday and Wednesday at Burdett Commons, 9-10:30, except for the second Monday of each month when we eat at Chauncey's.
January: Coffee hour every Monday and Wednesday, memoir group meeting, and lunch at Chaunceys
February: Coffee hour every Monday and Wednesday, memoir group meeting, lunch at Chaunceys
March: Movie shown, "The Gladiator", Lunch at Chauncey's and a pot luck luncheon on the 19th at Burdett.
April: Movie time featured two travelogues on "Cruising the Andes" and "Machu Picchu, Treasure of the Incas".

On the14th the Council on Aging sponsored their annual Health fair at the Manchester Elementary School, and served lunch in the cafeteria.

On the 23rd, we had show and tell after coffee hour.

The Memoir group met and we all had lunch at Chauncey's.
May: Movie was "Message in a Bottle", the Memoir Group met and we had lunch at Chauncey's.

On the 21st we had a potluck lunch at Burdett.
June: The movie was "Gone Fishing".

The Memoir group met and we all had lunch at Chauncey's.

On the 11, we took a trip to the Farm Museum in Cambridge and had lunch at the Cambridge Hotel. The Buffalo Farm was scheduled too, but was cancelled because of rain. Farm Museum Tour
July: On the 16th, we took a bus trip to Millbrook, New York to visit a Vineyard for the tour and tastings, and then had lunch at Allyn's Restaurant.
August: Movie shown was "A Song to Remember".

The memoir group met and lunch was had at Chauncey's
September: Movie was "The Apartment".

On the 12th, we took our second bus trip to Fort Ticonderoga for the tour of the fort, and drove on to Middlebury for lunch at the Fire and Ice Restaurant.
October: Movie shown was "An Affair to Remember".
November: Movie shown was "The Color Purple"

The Memoir group met and we had lunch at Chaunceys.
December: The movie shown was "The Bells of St.Mary's".

Lunch was at Chauncey's and the Christmas party was held at Burdett on the 22nd. Everyone brought an hors d'oeuvres and a gift to exchange.
